About the Foundation

Our story

Everyone deserves access to nutritious food — and someone to share it with.

Right here in our community, friends and neighbors are finding it harder to keep nutritious food on the table — and harder still to find the time and the company to sit down and enjoy it. The Let's Eat Together Foundation exists to help with both.

We are a not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving food security and social connectedness for individuals and families in our community. We provide high-quality, nutritious meals and create the occasions to share them. Working through community partnerships, volunteer effort, and sustainable food sourcing, we help make good food and good company easier to come by.

Who we are

We come to this as restaurant people

We are restaurateurs and hospitality professionals. We own and operate Panino's North Oaks, and feeding people well — sourcing it, cooking it, serving it, making the room feel good to sit in — is what we do every day.

The Let's Eat Together Foundation grew out of that. We already had the kitchen, the supply chain, the relationships with local farmers and suppliers, and a team who knows how to put a good plate in front of someone. Pointing all of it at our neighbors seemed like the obvious thing to do.

Hospitality is a craft, and its principles are the same whether someone is paying for dinner or not. That craft is what we bring to the place where food security and social connectedness meet — because it's the thing we actually know how to do.

Why food

Nutrition is the foundation of health

We believe that access to nutritious and satisfying meals is a fundamental foundation for physical and mental health. Wholesome, balanced meals support overall health, promote a strong immune system, boost energy levels, regulate mood, and reduce stress and anxiety.

That is why we collaborate with local farmers, food suppliers, and chefs — so the meals we provide are not only satisfying but genuinely support well-being.

Why together

A table does more than hold a plate

Sharing a meal with friends and loved ones is a powerful act that builds social and emotional bonds. When people gather around a table they do more than just share food — they share stories, laughter, and sometimes even their struggles.

Eating together builds empathy, promotes trust, and creates a sense of belonging, connection, and support. That connectedness extends beyond the table, strengthening and positively influencing families, friendships, and our community.

Our principles

Rooted in hospitality and community

Our mission is deeply rooted in the core principles of hospitality — and in the community we are part of.

Generosity

We give freely — food, time, and attention — without asking what comes back.

Respect

Every neighbor is a guest, served with the same care we would offer at our own table.

Inclusivity

There is always another chair, and always room for one more.

Warmth

A full plate, good company, and a joyful smile do more than ease hunger.

Community

Living in harmony and working together for the common good — because we are neighbors here too.

Looking ahead

Where we're going

Through the dedication of volunteers and the generous support of donors, we are committed to expanding our reach and deepening our impact. We will continue to build partnerships, scale our operations, enhance our programs, and advocate for policies that support food security and social connectedness.

We aim to create a community where good food and good company are within everyone's reach — young or old.
